母線(xiàn)橋是一種接線(xiàn)方式，即橋式接線(xiàn)，用跨接斷路器bcd把兩條電源引入線(xiàn)與兩臺變壓器聯(lián)系起來(lái)的主接線(xiàn)。較分段單母線(xiàn)接線(xiàn)簡(jiǎn)化，減少了斷路器的數量。根據跨接橋斷路器的位置不同，分為內接線(xiàn)橋和外接線(xiàn)橋。

對于母線(xiàn)槽，則可以說(shuō)是母線(xiàn)橋的升級產(chǎn)品，通常又叫封閉母線(xiàn)槽（簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)母線(xiàn)槽）。母線(xiàn)槽結構相對母線(xiàn)橋來(lái)說(shuō)要復雜點(diǎn)，有完善的結構組成，體積小，內部有絕緣附件等，箱體是不可或缺的組件。
